A) Summary:
This article mentions a decision of Fidel Castro that doesn't seek reelection as president, and his decision makes break his brother Raul who wants to make some change in the island's economiy,Cubans.
Fidel Castro was stepping down after a half of decade in office, and this is a chance for his brother, who has been ruling Cuba for 19 months, make changes in Cuba's economy, but it seems that residents in Cuba don't want this happen because they just want democracy and freedom. In a letter, Castro said that he can't accept another term as president of the ruling Council of State as his health isnot good and this made him not to keep on his job. Besides that, he also said that his conscience would be a betrayal and he would be responsible for requiement.
Cubans in Miani don't miss any news about Castro's resignation as they hope a change in the future; but there will have an unexpected event of the county,according Miami Dale Mayor Carlos Alvarez. Most Cubans believe that Raul wields tremendous power over troops, State Security, the Minister of Interior and the economy. There ae lot of differnt ideas about Raul, They aren't sure whether Raul will be elected as a new president or not. In a letter of Raul Castro, he said that the Council of State may choose a younger leader who is very young even children, have the authority and the experience to guarantee the replacement.
Castro didn't plan to hold on his job forever, so he suggested to elect a new younger leadership in a December. Some people said that Castro's decidion may become athe first step for a long process toward tha change in Cuba.Now,Castro's health is still bad but he plans to keep on writing regular news column.His only wish is to fight as a solsier in the battle of ideas and he will be careful if his voice will be heard.
Both Fidel Castro and Raul Castro have some differnces, but they are very kind.Poeple believe that Raul will use his strengh in Military, the communist party and National Assembly to improve the economy of Cuba.
B) Personal response:
Fidel Castro is admired by not only Cubans but also everyone all the world. He is a very intelligent and kind leader, so he was always a respected president until he went to hospital bed. Because of the respectation and admiration, he is hoped as a president of Cuba but the humon's health is limited, so we wiil have to accept this,it is always the truth.In addition, his brother Raul also has many strengh which may help Cuba develop and improve all fields about social-economic,politics system,..... to guarantee better lives for Cubans. Moreover, they are siblings, so I think that they will help each other because they have the same interests and stay in power,won't they?

********I'm really glad to receive some commons from my classmates.You know,this is the first time I create a blog,so i don't have any experiences to make it more interesting and attractive.I hope to be helped by everyone!!!
***********This time,i would like to tell you some characters about my novel which I've already read. the story talk about what happened in a family including a unusual boy named Charles Wallace who can understand the others' mind; his sister named Meg and her ten year old twin brothers named Sandy and Dennys.Their father is a physicist but he went away in one day without a reason. So,nobody know why he went away.Only his children are so curious about this and there are a lot of problems happened in their life everyday.
They met and contact with many strangers who lived on the old wood house.The first chapter,a woman named Whatsit came their house in the evening suddenly, and Charles was so surprise because only him knew her before.after that,he took his sibling and his friend named Calvin come to her house.There are many people who live in that house.The second chapter,they met Mrs Who and the third one they met Mrs Which.
---------------Actually,I can't explain what I read in some first pages clearly because I think my novel is fiction. I hope to tell you more clear next time.

my major!
- My major will be business continuously.In fact,i had finished 2 general years in Business Administration at Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Language and Information Technology(HUFLIT) in Viet Nam. After I finish the ESL program,I am going to study business with specific subjects: accounting,financing and banking.
- Since i came here,although my speaking and listening skills are not good,the writing and reading skills are better than others because I had studied very hard in university,but I didn't have a lot of chances to practice speaking and listening.So bad!
- In the future,I hope to use English in my work and communication.I will definitely come back my home,so I wish to work with the foreigners to maintain my English skills.
- My future job possibility is that I will help my family manage the tuna export company but my dream career is owner of large furniture showrooms.
- The novel that i have chosen is "A Wrinkle In time" of Amdeleine L'engle which Gail recommanded me and my classmates in her lists.I didn't decide to choose this novel,my aunt borrowed it in Woodridge Elementary library for me.I think that I have to try to read to understand it,after that I refer to a reason why I chose it,but i hope it will be so exciting.

My name is SAM.I'm from VIETNAM.This is the second quarter I study at SCCC.My major will be business.After I finish the college program,I would like to transfer a university to get a 4-year degree.After that,I will definitely come back my hometown to find a job or help my parents's business.
